 The first phase of organizing a successful event is the initial planning.  During this phase, you will decide what type of event you will have, who will attend.  You should also envision what type of theme if any you want to create for your event.
  To start, it is important to understand the event community in your area. Is there enough interest to hold a successful event?
  The next step is to find a venue for your event. At this stage you should also decide what time of year to hold your event and how long the event will last.
